Larry H. Miller Ford is a proud supporter of Tour of Utah
The 2010 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, presented by Zions Bank, promises to be the most exciting edition yet. With 17 teams comprised of some of the top names in the sport of cycling waging a "war on wheels" over some of the most challenging and beautiful terrain that Utah has to offer. It will be held August 17-22, 2010 will span over several cities including Salt Lake, Ogden, Lehi, and Park City.
Indeed, ask any professional cyclist in the U.S. to name the hardest race on the calendar and you're bound to hear the Tour of Utah make the top three. With its punishing climbs, unpredictable weather and stunning scenery the Tour of Utah has established itself as a "racer's race."
With a prologue plus five total stages, including the now classic "queen stage" finishing at the Snowbird resort, along with a new mountaintop finish up the steeper south side of the infamous Mt. Nebo, the 2010 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, presented by Zions Bank could well be regarded as the toughest yet. Also new to the race is the Park City Criterium featuring the town's famous quarter-mile long Main Street that will give spectators unparalleled viewing opportunities of the racers as they negotiate the twists and turns-and eight percent grade-of the technically challenging course.
